D150 Freshman Capture Gold

Just one year after the D150 Varsity reminded everybody that Dartmouth can medal at Eastern Sprints, Freshman Lightweight Coach Max Borghard’s crew took the freshman lightweight title on May 12, 1991. The first gold since Dick Grossman’s freshman had won in 1978. None other than Peter V.W. Gardner awarded the crew with their gold medals.
